March 17, 1924 - July 21, 2022
Who was this enigma simply known as mother, and how did she have the ability to relate to so many people; young and old? I think some people compared mother to Lydia, a Biblical virtuous woman whose price was far above rubies, a fantastic comparison; yet those of us that truly knew mother feels that no one could compare.
Yes, mother was a nurturer, teacher, provider, and special council, but to her grandchildren; she was the coolest. They were proud to take their friends over to meet her, or drop in to say hello, however, if in the summer that would mean you're going to watch a Baltimore Orioles game. Mother was a huge fan of the orioles, and when watching she would make sure she gave you an orioles history lesson, but don't worry the lesson was simple, and that was no matter how good a player on the team was at that time; they could never measure up to #33. I say this to remind everyone that Charity's family view her in the same light in which she viewed #33 Eddie Murray; and that's simply the best to ever do it.
